The product came well assembled and with its cleaning sponge. The power cord is US type and the extension is not long but also not short; made of stainless steel and has 4 modes for heating water (or any liquid). Just be careful because although its capacity says 500 mg, you cannot fill it to the 500 mg where it is marked since you must leave it uncapped when it's boiling and doing so causes water to splash everywhere.
